Mama's Herbs and Harvest

Mama's Herbs and Harvest is a farming mod which is also the base for the recipes in Mama's Minis such as MerryMaking and Happy Hallows. There are 32 growable crops, grapes, 8 fruit-bearing trees, and 14 herbs. The "Pantry Update", which adds new blocks, items, and food, is due to be released in early February of 2026.

Growables

Crops

Herbs and Harvest adds 42 new crops to the game. They are:

The Crops are all plantable on Farmland, same as Vanilla crops.

Herbs

There are 14 different herbs in Mama's Herbs and Harvest. Each of these grows like a crop, then can be harvested, and either placed like a flower, for decoration, or they can be potted in a Flower Pot. The herbs available are:

In the Pantry Update, Fresh herbs can be chopped or ground, and used for food recipes.

Fruit Trees

In addition to crops and herbs, there are Fruit Trees which have leaves that will continuously grow Fruit. They can be found in almost every biome. These trees are round shaped and the leaves are somewhat dark. The Fruit Tree Saplings also have a chance to be found inside chests throughout the Overworld. The Fruit Tree Saplings can be potted in a Flower Pot. The Fruit Trees in this mod are:

The leaves can be bonemealed for quicker fruit production, too.

Grapes

Grapes grow similar to Cave Vines. They are planted by placing underneath a block, and over time, will grow downward and produce fruit.

Grapes can be harvested from their vines just like Glow Berries are harvested from Cave Vines.

While Grapes do not generate naturally in the world, they do have a chance to be found inside chests throughout the Overworld.

Crop Basket

The crop basket is made from Bamboo, and can hold any Crop item from this mod, Vanilla crops, fruits/vegetables, and even other mod crops can be added via datapacks and tags.

The Crop Basket will hold up to 8 stacks of items, and each single item displayed inside the basket represents one stack.

To remove an item, right-click with an empty hand. Items will add back to player inventory, starting with the most recent.
