Herbs and Harvest: Guide to Cheese Making

Part 1: Supplies

For Cheese Making, you will want to be sure you have:

Once you have your supplies ready, you will need to decide on what type of cheese you want to make. There are 8 total types of cheeses, and each uses a unique mixture of milks to create. Milk mixtures for Cheese recipes are as follows:

Once you have decided on a recipe, and you have your other supplies, it's time to start creating the Cheese.

The next part depends on what type of Cheese you have made. If your Cheese recipe was a Soft Cheese, then there is nothing else to do; it's ready to go. Place it down, and click on it to receive a wedge of Cheese.

If you have crafted a Hard Cheese recipe, the Wheel you receive will be a "Raw" Wheel of that Cheese type, which will need to be aged. Add the Raw Wheel to a Cheese Shelf so that it can age. You will be able to see it change on the shelf, when it is aged.

After the Cheese has aged, the Wheel of Cheese will be placeable, and when clicked on, will give Wedges of Cheese.

Note: Once it is placed, Cheese cannot be picked back up, not even with Silk Touch.

Automation

Adding Rennet or Salt to the Cauldron can be automated with a Dispenser. Adding the The Milk mixtures to the Cauldron cannot be automated.

If Milk has cooked into Cream, extraction of the Cream Bucket can also be automated.
