Pruning Shears
These special shears will allow you to harvest Tree Blossoms from the leaves of the Ornamental Forest Trees.
Mortar & Pestle
The Mortar & Pestle item is used to crush up blossoms into Colored Pigments, and to grind Gemstone Chunks into fragments. It's also used to grind Mica Fragments into Mica Powder, which is needed for White Pigment and Grout. To use it, place it into the crafting table along with the other recipe ingredients such as Blossoms or Gem Chunks.

Tree Blossoms and Essences
Tree Blossoms
These are harvested from the leaves of the trees in the Ornamental Forest. The Blossoms can be crushed with a Mortar & Pestle to craft pigment, or they can be placed in Clay Vases for decoration.
Essences
There are two types of Essences that can be found in this mod:
Floral Essence, which can be harvested from Ornamental Forest Tree leaves, and
Earthen Essence, which is found when mining ore blocks or chopping logs. Both of these essences are used to make potions. Earthen Essence is a rare find, as the potion it makes is very powerful.

Coloring Agents
Pigments
Pigments are obtained by crushing Blossom color combinations in a Mortar & Pestle. Black Pigment requires Coal, and White Pigment requires Mica Powder. Some colors don't need to be mixed, however, and can be obtained from a single color of Blossom. The Blossoms will naturally yield the following colors, depending on what color Blossom you have:
- Red: Crabapple Blossoms
- Orange: Poinciana Blossoms
- Yellow: Laburnum Blossoms
- Green: Jade Blossoms
- Cyan: Paulownia Blossoms
- Blue: Wisteria Blossoms
- Purple: Jacaranda Blossoms
- Pink: Dogwood Blossoms
- White: Silverbell Blossoms
Wood Stains
You can use the pigments to make Wood Stains. They are made by crafting a Dye Bath and smelting it in a Furnace. One bucket of Stain will cover a stack of blocks. They come in all 16 Minecraft colors.
Pigmented Clay
You can mix Pigments with Clay to get Colored Clay. Smelt this in a furnace to make Colored Bricks, which can be used to make Colored Brick Blocks, or use it to make a Clay Vase.
Clay Vases
Craft these with Colored Clay, and smelt them in a Furnace. They make great decorations and Tree Blossoms can be placed in them.
Clay Mixes
Combine Pigmented Clay with Sand and you'll make a Colored Clay Mix. If you smelt this in a Furnace, you'll get a Colored Clay Block.

Gemstone Chunks and Fragments
Gemstone Chunks
Gemstone Chunks are harvested by mining Gemstone Ores. They can be crushed into Gemstone Fragments with a Mortar & Pestle.
Gemstone Fragments
Gemstone Fragments are used to craft Gemstone Tile Blocks. The Mica Gemstone Fragments can be ground up a second time with the Mortar & Pestle, into Mica Powder.
Mica Powder and Grout
Mica Powder is used to craft White Pigment and Grout.

Grout
Grout is used in crafting Gemstone Tile Blocks.
Dark Iron Mix/Ingots
Dark Iron is required to make an inlay for one of the styles of doors. It's crafted with iron and coal, and smelted in a Furnace to make Dark Iron Ingots.
Dark Iron Inlay
One of the styles of doors in this mod requires a Dark Iron Inlay. It's made with Dark Iron Ingots.
